Amber Quartet, founded in Beijing is 2005, is one of China's most internationally influential chamber music ensembles. The members of the quarter (Ning Fanglian, Su Yajing, Qi Wang and Yan Yichen) are all faculty members at the Central Conservatory of Music and have long been dedicated to the performance, research, and teaching of the string quarter repertoire. With their refined artistry and exceptional ensemble cohesion, Amber Quarter is widely regard as one of the most representative Chinese string quartets on the contemporary music stage.
