Relive the Pioneering Days of Rail and Rural History in Mid Canterbury!
148 Year old Steam Loco K88, will be hauling the passenger service. Built in 1877, this majestic Loco will be operating rides every half hour from 11am - 4pm! Tickets give the holder unlimited rides on the day.
What will you see? A working Stationary Engine display, inspect Vintage Tractors, Museum Village Buildings Open (housing hundreds of exhibits), Fun classic outdoor games for all the family to try, in the Railway Station, there is a Childrens Activity area and Souvenir shop (where Cold Drinks and Snacks are available).
Bring a picnic - The Little Honey Co. will be onsite with Fresh Fruit Icecreams.
