The Power Farming New Zealand Ploughing Championships for 2027 are being hosted by the Hinds Ploughing Association at the property of William and Jane Lowe on Swamp Road Hinds on Saturday and Sunday the 17 and 18th of April 2027.
Gates open at 10.00am for the parade to the plots behind the pipe band with the competition to follow. See competitors from all over New Zealand vie for national titles and to be selected to compete in the World Ploughing Championships plus spray drone displays, competitive horse ploughing, coffee carts, country food, trade, craft and retail stalls, rides, vintage machinery displays and much much more.
