That Bloody Woman – Methven Theatre Company

8pm

About

On stage at Mt Hutt Memorial Hall in Methven for three nights only, the show offers a fresh interpretation of the women’s suffrage movement in New Zealand, and will be the first time the musical has been performed in the district.

But don’t worry - it’s not a dry and earnest production! Audiences can expect to laugh, to rock with the LIVE BAND and be energised by this Kiwi Story performed by local actors and musicians.
While the music reflects the rebellious spirit and refusal to conform, the steampunk elements provide a visually rich backdrop. Weaving it together is a story of unwavering optimism and fierce determination told by Kate Shepard and Richard Seddon.

The production proudly showcases the talent and creativity of Methven, demonstrating that powerful storytelling and innovative theatre can emerge from anywhere.

The energetic ensemble of our creative crew, seamless seamstresses, bangin’ band and characterful cast make this a show NOT TO BE MISSED !! "Coarse language and Mature themes"
