Image Lending Terms & Conditions

Images obtained from Experience Mid Canterbury's image library are available for use by Ashburton district businesses, national / international media, conference / event organisers, inbound tour operators, wholesalers and other groups requiring images to promote the Ashburton District.

 Usage of this imagery should be for the purposes of promoting Mid Canterbury as a destination and must not be used for financial gain. Images cannot be used on commercial products, where the primary focus is the product being sold rather than the destination; for example, image use on a postcard for purchase for example would be against these Terms & Conditions.

The user’s acknowledgement that these Terms and Conditions have been read, understood and will be complied with is required before distribution of any imagery. 

Experience Mid Canterbury is the promotional arm of the Ashburton District Council and manages the District Promotion for Ashburton District. All images available for download in this image library are owned under copyright by Ashburton District Council.

Use of any images must acknowledge Experience Mid Canterbury, either by name or www.midcanterbury.co.nz as the source of the images. Incorrect labelling and/or failure to acknowledge Experience Mid Canterbury will be viewed as a breach of these Terms & Conditions.

Any breach of these terms and conditions may result in Council taking further action against a user, including for breach of copyright.
